I have been married to my wonderful husband Mark for 11 years. We have a great little boy "John" (9 years old) and he is his daddy's little man.
We live on 40 acres northeast of Denver, with several sheep, 1 guard donkey for the sheep, 2 horses, 6 border collies and 1 pug who is the shoppe's mascot. She works hard every day greeting all of our customers at both The Speckled Goose and Noble Treasures. She would love to meet you too.
Nancie's Country Collectables was born in 2002 when I opened my first website to sell my handcrafted items. Nancie's Country Collectables has evolved many times to what it is today. In 2005 I opened my first booth space in Noble Treasures, a local antique mall, and that has grown and evolved over the years also. In 2005 when my corporate job was eliminated I started working at Noble Treasures one day per week, now I am there every Monday & Tuesday.
In June 2006 I opened The Speckled Goose in Old Town Lafayette, Colorado. In the beginning I rented out a few areas of the store to other crafters to give customers a larger variety. Within the first year I overtook the entire store. In addition to my handcrafted in the USA, I have added more vintage collectables, and new items. This has given customers a nice mix of home decor and gifts.
